Our skin cancer surveillance services
We use a two-step process that represents Level 4 skin surveillance (the most advanced monitoring available).

Step 1
The Vectra WB360 captures 92 images in under three seconds, producing a high-resolution 3D avatar of your full visible skin surface. Every spot over 2mm is mapped, measured and categorised, creating a precise baseline for future comparisons.
Step 2
Our doctor then uses the D200evo Dermatoscope at up to 200x magnification to examine any spots of concern. Each image links directly to your 3D avatar, giving your doctor an integrated record across every visit.
Both steps together provide a thorough assessment covering melanoma, basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma.

Why choose Avatar Imaging?
Avatar Imaging sees patients of all skin types, with or without a personal or family history of skin cancer, because skin cancer can develop in anyone, including in areas with little sun exposure.
Where follow-up or treatment is needed, we work alongside your existing GP or specialist. Where treatment is appropriate, your doctor will discuss the options and refer you to the right service.
